Trump and Biden meme coins surge after Trump meets with NFT holders
Meme coins inspired by current US President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have seen a surge in the past 24 hours after Trump spoke about crypto at his NFT Holders Dinner.
Data from CoinMarketCap reveals that Trump-themed MAGA meme coin (ASSET), climbed more than 44%. Likewise, Jeo Boden (BODEN), a piece with a misspelled nod to President Joe Biden, rose more than 22%.

CoinMarketCap The meme coin market cap category page identified the top three gainers in meme coins over the past 24 hours: Donald Tremp surged 122%, MAGA rose 44%, and Jeo Boden rose 22%.
In contrast to these gains, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading around $60,800, reflecting a 2.4% decline over the same period. Ethereum (ETH) also saw a decline, falling more than 1.4% to around $2,950.
The presidential-themed rally coins come after Asset announced plans to accept cryptocurrency for campaign donations on Wednesday.
In several video clips job to X by anonymous DeGods NFT holder Malcolm, the former president spoke to a group of NFT buyers, expressing support for crypto donations.
“If you can’t, I’ll make sure you can,” Trump said in a speech. “Can we donate to the Trump campaign using crypto? I believe the answer is yes.”
The announcement fueled the surge in Trump-inspired coins, highlighting the growing intersection between cryptocurrency and political fundraising.
Trump has made numerous efforts in the crypto space, including proposing NFT cards on several channels, denigrate CBDCand close to 3 million dollars in crypto holdings.
