Bitcoin in GTA 6 Rumors: Rumors that the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 will use cryptocurrency began to bubble over a year later first appearance. On Wednesday, a pseudonymous crypto influencer on Twitter called Gordon shared to its nearly 500,000 subscribers that “GTA 6 will allow cryptocurrency payments” and that “so far, only Bitcoin, EthereumAnd USDT [are] confirmed.”
When Twitter users asked the influencer where it came from, he would jokingly reply that his “uncle works there” or that previous reports on the subject were “old” at this point. In truth, no cryptocurrency has been confirmed for Grand Theft Auto 6. We dug into what was said and what was not said on the GTA-meets-crypto front.
Moonray Airdrop Push: Sci-fi arena fighting game Moon Beam launched his airdrop game campaignSuccessful participants are eligible to receive the project’s native token once it launches. Players must place in the top half of all five games to progress through the campaign. Users can also increase their chances of winning by participating in weekly social challenges.
This happens in the middle of the game Epic Games Store Launchesputting the game in front of a user base of 75 million monthly active players. This seems to be an emerging trend where crypto games launched on the store will launch a game airdrop campaign in parallel, after Blood Loop And Nyan Hero I recently did the same thing.
Telegram Upgrade: On Tuesday, Telegram announced that it had launched a “mini app bar” feature for its mobile applications, allowing users to multitask by quickly switching between open mini-apps. This applies to all types of applications designed for the platform, including the Telegram Wallet bot and many games.
Popular messaging app Telegram is in the midst of a crypto gaming phenomenon, driven by games to win by typing as No room And Hamster Fight that have attracted millions and millions of players to their “mini-apps.” The feature allows users to collapse Telegram mini-apps into a convenient bar at the bottom of the screen, so users can switch between chats, apps, and games.
