ReQuest, a Pinoy-led NFT ticketing platform, wins big at Solana Summit
Philippine Development Team secures 2nd place at Solana APAC Summit in Malaysia.
Requesta Filipino-led ticketing and events dApp, secured 2nd place at the Solana APAC Summit hackathon in Kuala Lumpur. The team presented innovative blockchain solutions to combat ticket fraud and improve event management.
What is the signification : Request aims to transform event ticketing through blockchain technology, providing transparent and secure solutions that improve fraud prevention and event management efficiency.

The bootcamp was held at the AWS office in Kuala Lumpur, where the founders worked with other founders and developers from the Solana ecosystem.

How it works: ReQuest operates as a decentralized application (dApp) built on the Solana blockchain.

Proof of work: ReQuest and Yield Guild Games co-hosted the official “Developers Night” private event at REDROOM, Kuala Lumpur to close the Solana Summit.
AlwaysEven though blockchain-based ticketing solutions offer increased security and transparency, their widespread adoption may still face regulatory challenges and technological barriers.
And after: ReQuest plans to leverage its success at the Solana APAC Summit to expand its user base and partnerships globally.
