How to make money with MotoDEX
MotoDEX is one of two Web3 games currently available in the DEXStudio ecosystem. To start playing for free, it seems the only way to do so is to download the Web2 version for Android or iOS, where you can play a free track that will earn you 50 coins for each race. The track allows you to use slopes while avoiding obstacles and managing your boost by paying attention to the engine temperature, making sure it doesn’t overheat and therefore slow you down. The coins earned by completing these free races can be used to purchase avatars and tracks, also available via in-app purchases. You’ll need a lot of those coins to get them, though.
To start earning money in MotoDEX, you’ll need to jump into the main browser-based multi-chain game, where you’ll need to purchase a Moto Avatar NFT to start your game and earn time. These are playable motorcycle riders available through the game’s decentralized app alongside the studio’s official marketplace, OpenBiSea. This means you can choose to purchase Polygon-based assets from other players or buy from the developers by connecting your wallet to one of the many supported chains, including Polygon, ICP, NEAR, Sui, Mantle, Base, and more. According to the game’s official website, each new purchase “increases the value of the NFT item by 1%” while purchasing Track NFTs brings a 10% increase.
With a Moto Avatar NFT, you are eligible to compete in competitive races on different tracks designed to resemble cities such as London, Dubai, Melbourne, and more. Each competition has an entry fee in the form of a minimum bet size determined by the track owner. Once you place your bet, you can compete against other players while avoiding obstacles and bots that stand in your way of victory. If you manage to win the race, you will be rewarded with 60% of the money placed by all participants in the form of bets. Track NFT owners receive 30% of these bets, while developers take a 10% cut.
