NFT.com investor sues ‘blockchain evangelist’ for fraud and threats
A cryptocurrency investor sued the owner of NFT.com, a non-fungible token exchange, claiming the serial entrepreneur tricked him into helping launch the business and then had conspired to force him to leave.
The fraud lawsuit, filed in Delaware, targets Jordan Fried, who describes himself as a “blockchain evangelist”– and one of his companies, Immutable Holdings Inc., owner of the NFT.com web domain. It also names Immutable’s chief attorney, Jeffrey Long, who allegedly provided false legal advice and crude threats as part of the scheme.
