Mintable wins judgment against rival NFT company over its brand
A Singapore-based company that operates a non-fungible token service platform is entitled to a permanent injunction against a rival company accused of infringing its unregistered trademark, a federal judge ruled.
Mintable PTE. Ltd. has adequately established that Mintology Inc.’s use of the mark results in a substantial likelihood of consumer confusion, said Judge Lewis J. Liman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Liman granted Mintable’s motions for default judgment and permanent injunction.
