Pixels, the most popular game without telegram
Gaming on the TON blockchain has seen a lot of buzz in recent months, but with Pixels there is a popular game that doesn’t rely on Telegram. And with the Chapter 2 upgrade, things got more interesting.
Founder Luke Barwikowski said Decipher that the changes are quite significant. Although the game has attracted millions of new users over several months, Barwikowski said for him and his team the changes are intended to address “some of the issues” encountered over the past few years.

The developers also want to encourage and reward long-time players rather than casual players and provide a much deeper user experience. However, Barwikowski also admitted that the team was still figuring out what general direction the game was going to take.
The cool thing is that we don’t know what the metagame will be. This is also part of the experiment. The team is basically on deck for a month or two after release to do a ton of live ops.
