Melania Trump sells necklace and NFT on Solana blockchain

Melania Trump, the wife of former President Donald Trump, launched a Mother’s Day necklace along with a free matching NFT on the Solana blockchain on Sunday.

Titled the “Her Live and Gratitude” necklace, Trump’s latest design “can be engraved with names, initials or important dates to create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry.”

Sold for $245, buyers will also receive a “limited edition digital collectible” minted on the Solana blockchain alongside the gold vermeil pendant.

“Being a mother is one of the most important roles in life,” Trump said in a statement Sunday. “For this Mother’s Day, I designed the “Her Love and Gratitude” necklace to express immense gratitude and honor all mothers.”

The customizable necklace and corresponding NFT mark the latest venture from the polarizing political figure, who first capitalized on the craze in sell a digital token titled “Melania’s Vision” in December 2021.
