Guntech 2.5 leverages Upland’s developer APIs and no-code NFT minting capabilities to interact with its blockchain-based economy and thriving gaming community. Guntech 2.5 is being welcomed to Upland as the first “player game” within its developer ecosystem.
Bringing Guntech 2.5 to Upland:
Showcasing a commitment to a cross-platform presence and ensuring a tailored experience for mobile users, Mathilda Studios and Utopos have co-developed a new exclusive version of Guntech 2.5 for Upland.
The new version leverages the capabilities of iOS/iPadOS devices, offering intuitive controls and optimized performance to deliver an engaging gaming experience directly to Apple device users. An Android version will follow later this year.
Technical integration and innovation:
Today’s launch showcases Upland’s development strategy, enabling Web2 games to benefit from blockchain-based ecosystem using web2 APIs. The Utopos and Mathilda Studios teams leveraged the full scope of Upland’s development tools and features to ensure a user-friendly integration of Guntech 2.5 into the Upland platform.
Utilizing Upland’s developer APIs, Guntech 2.5 will deliver a seamless experience for players on the platform with identity and asset mapping, leaderboard features, in-game pass purchasing using escrow containers and a connection to its gamified NFT minting and economy.
Upland’s Preferred Developer Program (UDN Pro) provides its integration partners with technical support, marketing support, and monetization opportunities, all designed to help developers succeed in the web3 space. The program is designed to connect developers to the global community in the Metaverse, providing the support necessary for discoverability with its 3M users and liquidity within its open economy.
Guntech’s presence on the Upland platform will take the immersive form of Dev Shops, where third-party applications build a physical presence in the metaverse via an NFT property correlated with a real-world address.
In preparation for the launch, Guntech 2.5 has built its unique development store structure across 10 cities in Upland. Members of the Upland community were encouraged to help build the game’s presence in their respective digital communities by staking SPARK (soon to launch as $SPARKLET).
The Guntech 2.5 exclusive release for the Upland world also used Upland’s mint-free NFTs. Guntech participated in a closed beta of the Legit NFT mint that will be revealed at Upland’s G-Week Live event in Vegas on June 7. Legits will have an in-game use in Guntech.
