GTA 6 Will Include Cryptocurrency Mission, Internet Speculates
Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be released in 2025 and rumors of the game having a cryptocurrency features have started making the rounds on the Internet again. In a post shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), a Encrypt A tipster named AltcoinGordan revealed that Take Two-owned Rockstar Games may “enable cryptocurrency payments” in the upcoming, highly anticipated game. The leaker also claimed that “only Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT have been confirmed so far.”
Rockstar has yet to confirm these rumors, however these rumors remain unverified as Rock star is yet to confirm whether these speculations are true. The post currently has over 8 lakh views and some readers also added that “Rockstar, the creators of the GTA series, have not yet confirmed whether cryptocurrencies will be integrated into the game and it is still a rumor.”
The post also includes a fake GTA 6 trailer and quickly spread online. When people asked him for proof, he joked that “his uncle works there” or that other reports were old news. These playful responses confused fans and cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
