DMarket, a collection of in-game items on the Mythos network, topped CryptoSlam’s non-fungible token (NFT) sales chart with US$857,829 on Thursday, up from US$710,928 the day before.
Following closely behind, Guild of Guardians Avatars climbed to second place on the day’s NFT rankings with US$825,172 in sales. The collection is linked to the online game of Immutable.
Fantasy Top, a Blast collection that turns Crypto Twitter into an NFT game, takes third place with daily sales of US$611,135. Fantasy Top remains in the top three despite dropping $1.04 million the day before, putting it at the top of the market.
Thursday’s top three collections show the growing appetite for Web3 games.
According to DappRadar, Web3 games attracted nearly a billion dollars in investments last month.
Next, Ethereum’s Bored Ape Yacht Club and The Captainz round out the top five collections with US$602,545 and US$531,806 in sales, respectively.
The Ethereum network led all blockchains in sales with US$6.2 million on Thursday.
The industry received major news related to the world’s largest NFT chain as the United States Securities and Exchange Commission approved Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), paving the way for trading these financial instruments in traditional markets in the United States.
Bitcoin, with just under $5 million, was the second largest blockchain of the day, followed by Solana with $2.34 million.
The Solana blockchain also made headlines with a significant number of transactions, totaling 63,682 for the day, although its sales volume was less than $2.34 million. This performance highlights the diversity and competitiveness of the NFT market across different blockchains.
