Ethereum reclaims NFT throne with $17.02 million in daily sales
Ethereum reclaimed its position as the top blockchain in the non-fungible token (NFT) market on Wednesday, with daily sales reaching US$17.02 million.
The platform saw a 39.19% increase in sales in the 24 hours before 2 p.m. ET, according to data from CryptoSlam. Ethereum’s historic sales volume reached $43.36 billion, which is the highest in the industry.
Ethereum fallen Bitcoin tops daily sales after holding this position for two days.
This is the second consecutive week where Bitcoin led the market on Monday and Tuesday, only to concede the lead to Ethereum on Wednesday.
Bitcoin and Solana ranked second and third respectively for the day, with Bitcoin seeing a nearly 30% drop in sales to US$11.61 million, while Solana’s sales were down slightly by 4.17%. , totaling 6.79 million US dollars.
Despite this decrease, Bitcoin is closing in on US$3 billion in historic NFT sales volume, now at around US$23 million.
It is on track to become the fourth network in history to reach this milestone.
Polygon recorded the fourth highest sales volume on Wednesday with a 6.35% increase in sales over the last 24 hours, reaching US$1.13 million.
Polygon’s sales volume reached at least $1 million for the first time this week.
Mythos Chain, the fifth NFT network of the day, made $1.06 million in revenue.
Immutable dropped out of the top 5 on Wednesday after suffering a 20% drop in sales to US$725,679.
