Ethereum leads NFT sales with slight increase
Ethereum rose to the top spot in the non-fungible token (NFT) market with sales reaching US$10 million, an increase of 0.14% in the last 24 hours through 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday .
Ethereum leads the NFT market in historical sales volume, which stands at $43.45 billion, according to CryptoSlam data.
Bitcoin, ranked second on Tuesday, saw a 17.39% drop in sales, totaling $8.15 million, knocking it down from the top spot.
Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $3 billion in sales, ranking it fourth in the market, and is quickly catching up to Ronin’s $4.26 billion for third place. Ronin added $2.4 billion to its total in March.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin increased its total by more than $1.1 billion in the first three months of 2024, including a half-billion-dollar increase last month.
Solana, in third position, recorded a significant increase in sales of 43.13%, reaching US$7.57 million.
Solana’s historic sales volume stands at US$5.32 billion, giving it second place in the all-time ranking.
The fourth blockchain over the past day, Mythos, saw its sales decrease by 8.39%, with a total of $1.12 million. Its sales of washing products, however, increased by 56.47%, which did not significantly affect its overall business performance.
DMarket, NFTs, and in-game items on Mythos were unable to replicate yesterday’s success, when they led all NFT collections in sales volume.
DMarket sales fell 10.8% Tuesday to $1.07 million.
