Ethereum leads NFT sales with over $32 million in 24 hours
Ethereum maintained its position as the leading blockchain in the non-fungible token (NFT) market for the second day in a row, according to data from CryptoSlam.
Ethereum NFT sales reached over $32.81 million in the last 24 hours, through 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
About half of Ethereum’s sales came from CryptoPunk #7804, which sold for $16.38 million, or 4,850 ETH, making it the second most valuable CryptoPunk of all time.
Ethereum’s increase in sales over the past day further strengthened its all-time sales volume, which now stands at an industry-leading $43.30 billion.
In contrast, the blockchains ranked second and third on Thursday, Bitcoin and Solana, saw a decline in business performance.
Bitcoin sales fell 12% to $10.26 million. Sales of Solana fell 17%, to $6.39 million.
Bitcoin’s historical sales volume now stands at approximately $2.91 billion. Solana, which ranks second in all-time sales, has reached a total of $5.25 billion.
