Ethereum HV-MTL Mechs Enter the FPS Arena “Shatterline”
What is Shatterline?
Breaking line is a PC shooter developed by Frag Lab and has been in Early Access since 2022. It will end its Early Access phase on August 1, with a full launch planned for later this year.
According to Paley, discussions about integrating web3 features with Frag Lab began in 2022. However, Frag Lab focused on refining the game’s core mechanics before adding new features. “We thought it looked absolutely incredible,” Paley said of early gameplay testing. Paley also mentioned plans for the game to be released on the Epic Games Store.
Players can expect HV-MTL mechs to provide benefits in Shatterline’s player-versus-environment expedition modes, and will include both Web3 rewards, such as tradable items, and traditional Web2 rewards.
Shatterline with HV-MTL integration is scheduled to launch in Q4 2024. Following the initial release, Faraway plans to add additional HV-MTL classes and expand to Legends of the Mara universe, featuring characters such as Koda Maras and Shattered Goliaths.
