- New York Cultural Club: Known for its innovative fashion technology, NYCC has made its mark at events like New York Fashion Week. He specializes in the integration NFC chips in objectscreating immersive digital experiences.
- The squirrel: A NFT comic book hosted on NFT.io and created by brothers-in-law Bob and Kevin. They focus on hand-drawn art, avoiding artificial intelligence. Their art complements the musical project. Meanwhile, the duo will create the NFT
The vinyl will feature artwork and include studio songs from George Murphy and The Rising Sons on side A and live tracks on side B. Owners can tap their NFC-enabled phone on the vinyl to verify ownership and unlock a digital experience.
Once an owner places their smartphone on the vinyl, it triggers an Enjin NFT certificate of authenticity, kept NFT.io.
These NFTs are tied to vinyl, making them true playable music assets.
Each vinyl comes with its own unique artwork. Additionally, only 200 vinyls and their corresponding RWAs will be released, making this opportunity limited and exclusive.
The Transformative Power of Enjin Blockchain
As an artist based in Europe, George has not encountered blockchain much. However, a previous meeting with The Squirrel in New York had blossomed into a close friendship.
Bob, co-creator of The Squirrel, revealed to George about NFTs and the opportunities they could offer the band to connect with their audience.
Building engagement with 600 million listeners
More … than 600 million people listen to their favorite artists with online streaming platforms.
Although these music platforms have revolutionized music distribution, they often limit how artists can interact with their fans. These platforms typically control presentation and monetization, leaving artists with fewer opportunities to interact directly with their audiences.
Real-world resources allow artists to bypass these limitations by connecting directly with their listeners. An RWA can encompass not just music, but a whole spectrum of fan experiences.
George Murphy and The Rising Sons explore innovative ways to deepen connections with their audiences using real-world resources. These digital tokens offer more than just proof of ownership: they can serve as a key to a unique range of fan experiences.
Getting closer to our audience through an NFT, whether it offers proof of ownership of a song, a concert ticket, special previews, messages, live digital concerts or all of these things is all ideas we think about.

Owning a specific real-world asset could grant access to limited-edition artwork or special-edition tracks. These tokens can serve as memberships that unlock special privileges, further strengthening the fan’s involvement in the creative world.
Creating economic opportunities for millions of artists
With NFTs, artists gain unprecedented control over their content. This technology allows musicians like George to manage how their music is distributed, shared and monetized without the need for middlemen. This direct control can help preserve the artistic integrity of their work, ensuring that it reaches the public as intended.
“Traditional sales can tend to leave out both sides too much, and NFTs give us more control over content and give fans the opportunity to engage more directly so we can deliver some of the best to come.”
~George Murphy
The direct engagement facilitated by NFTs can also lead to richer fan experiences, which can in turn increase the value of music. Fans who feel a stronger connection to the artist and their journey are more likely to support them by purchasing merchandise and participating in fan-led projects.
Additionally, with Enjin Blockchain on-chain royalties, artists receive a predefined percentage of sales each time their NFTs are resold on any Enjin marketplace. This adds a sustainable revenue stream that continues long after the initial sale.
A new paradigm for the musical experience
George Murphy and The Rising Sons’ journey into NFTs and RWAs marks a transformative chapter in their musical journey.
Through Enjin’s suite of tools, they are using blockchain to enhance their artistic expression and are pioneering a new standard for how artists can interact with their fans. This strategic adoption of NFTs and RWAs positions George Murphy and The Rising Sons at the forefront of the digital music revolution, setting a compelling example for millions of artists around the world.
We’re ahead, and if you’re reading this, you’re ahead too. That’s a challenge in itself. There isn’t much precedent, it’s always harder in that sense! We want to try a few things and see what sticks.
