DMarket opens week as top NFT in daily sales
DMarket emerged as the top non-fungible token (NFT) collection on Monday, with a daily sales volume of US$842,038, representing a 1% increase from the previous day.
The collection totaled 36,900 transactions, involving 4,304 unique buyers and 3,555 sellers.
DMarket is a Mythos-based collection that represents gaming assets for popular games like Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2, both of which feature in top esports competitions. The International 2021, a Dota 2 tournament held in Bucharest, Romania, had a prize pool of US$40 million, the largest in esports history.
Market-leading DMarket’s daily sales on Monday pushed its all-time sales volume to $422 million, now 16th all-time.
The second position of the day was claimed by Solana’s Monkey Business, with daily sales reaching US$802,328. This collection resulted in a total of 148 transactions, involving 74 unique buyers and 77 sellers.
Pudgy Penguins secured third place with a daily sales volume of US$703,920, a considerable jump from the previous day’s US$143,138. Today’s top Ethereum collection achieved this with just 19 transactions.
Other notable collections include Bitcoin’s NodeMonkes and Solana’s Mad Lads. NodeMonkes recorded a daily sales volume of US$672,683 with 33 transactions, while Mad Lads followed with US$570,755 from 41 transactions.
Last Thursday, NodeMonkes led the NFT marketplace to reverse SATS (a BRC-20 bundle) to claim the all-time top spot among Bitcoin-based collections.
DeGods saw a sales decline of more than $1.1 million from the previous day and generated $564,417 in sales on Monday, falling out of the top five.
Mutant Ape Yacht Club, on the other hand, saw its daily sales increase to US$355,212.56 for sixth place.
Bored Ape Yacht Club, the parent project of Mutant Ape Yacht Club, followed closely behind its spinoff collection with US$350,481.46.
BAYC is the second largest NFT collection in the world by historical sales volume at US$3.14 billion.
