BTC at $58K, ETH Above $3.1K, Major Altcoins Rally
The cryptocurrency market has sustained its marginal rally towards the middle of the week. However, there has been a mixed price movement among the coins as some of them are trading in the red zone while others are in the green. CoinMarketCap data reveals that the global cryptocurrency market capitalization increased by 0.06% to $2.15 trillion, down slightly from $2.16 trillion yesterday.
Notably, total trading volume during this period fell 7.17% to $59.05 billion, a significant reduction from yesterday’s $65.79 billion. However, sentiment surrounding the market appears to have gained a small lift, as alternative data shows that the Cryptocurrency Fear and Greed Index Stands at 29 Todaya one point increase from the previous days’ 28. Update on the prices of the main cryptocurrencies
The largest cryptocurrency by trading volume, Bitcoin, has seen high volatility over the past 24 hours. According to data from CoinMarketCap, the BTC price is currently down 0.33%, trading at $58,451. In addition, the trading volume over the past day has also dropped by 9.82% to $24.6 billion. Even though there have been a lot of funds pumped through the Bitcoin ETF in the past 24 hours, the asset’s price is still struggling to gather the much-needed momentum to push its value above $60k.
Ethereum on the other hand, is trading in the green zone. Data shows that the ETH Price is now at $3,114, which represents a 1.29% increase. However, 24-hour trading volume is taking the opposite direction, falling 1.02% to $13.8 billion. Coinfomania previously reported that there has been an increase in whale movement in ETH, as major industry players, including Justin Sun, are accumulating significant amounts of ETH ahead of the launch of the ETH ETF. XRP is one of the coins that sees green today. At the time of writing, the XRP price rose 1.09%, changing hands at $0.44. While investors are hoping for a rally that will move the coin’s price above the coveted $0.5 mark, the reality of XRP has seen consolidation around the $0.4 zone in recent weeks.
THE Solana price (SOL) surged 0.49% to $143.21, with a real-time market cap of $66.4 billion and a 24-hour trading volume of $1.7 billion, which means it fell 17.25% from the previous day.
Cardano (ADA) maintains its position as the top gainer among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap. At the time of writing, the ADA Price recorded a 3.01% increase, trading at $0.394.
Among altcoins, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) have seen only marginal gains over the recorded time frame. DOGE price rose 0.74% to $0.109 and the SHIB price rose 0.20% to $0.00001664.

STX, a Bitcoin Layer for smart contracts, has increased by 11.86% to trade at $1.6, positioning itself as the 32nd largest cryptocurrency with a real-time market cap of $2.45 billion.
