Bitcoin Rises on Prospects of a Second Trump Presidency

Political violence is back on the menu in the United States. First there was the January 6 insurrection that left several law enforcement officers injured and dead, and then this weekend an assassination attempt on Trump that left one man dead at a Trump rally:

The political outcome of the weekend is that it has increased Trump’s chances of winning the presidential election. Trump was already well placed, given the cognitive decline evident in his challenger, U.S. President Biden.

Bitcoin is enjoying the prospect of a Trump White House. Technical analysts may want to weigh in. BTC has some work to do to get back to $72,000 IMO:
