Binance Set to Delist Four Altcoins on July 22
Major cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will no longer support four altcoins, which has led to a significant drop in their market prices.
The four altcoins that will be delisted on July 22 (03:00 UTC) are: BarnBridge (BOND), Dock (DOCK), Mdex (MDX), and Polkastar (POLS).
Following the announcement, DOCK dropped nearly 30%, MDX dropped 23.65%, and BOND and POLS both saw losses of over 17%. This delisting is part of Binance’s regular review process, which sometimes involves adding tokens to a watchdog tag before delisting.
Trading pairs like BOND/BTCLINK/USDTDOCK/BTC, DOCK/USDT, MDX/USDT and POLS/USDT will be suspended and all existing trading orders will be automatically removed after cancellation.
Additionally, Binance is updating various services to phase out these altcoins altogether, removing them from Binance Simple Earn and Auto-Invest, halting margin trading for these tokens, and removing them from Binance Convert and Binance Pay as scheduled.
