50 Cent Says Hacker Made $300 Million in 30 Minutes Using His X Account to Promote Cryptocurrencies
50 cents made a bombshell claim that a hacker made $300 million in half an hour after using the rapper’s website and social media access to promote cryptocurrency.

Taking to his Instagram account on Friday, June 21, 50 Cent clarified that he was not associated with the $GUNIT cryptocurrency that was being promoted on his website and X account. He went on to say that the hacker had scammed his admirers and absconded with a considerable sum of money.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, claims he was hacked and absconded with $300 million by using his platform to promote cryptocurrency.
“My Twitter & Thisis 50.com has been hacked,” the 48-year-old rapper posted on Instagram.
“I have no association with this Cryptocurrency. Twitter worked quickly to block my account again. Whoever did that made $300,000,000 in 30 minutes,” she added.

Replying to his post, one user wrote: “This hacker deserves a Grammy.”
“I love cryptocurrencies, but it’s not cool,” chimed in another.
In his Instagram post, screenshots of the “$GUNIT” memecoin were published, whose market value was initially around $1 million.
It appeared that 50 Cent’s X account was still blocked as of Saturday morning. Furthermore, his personal website was also taken down.

50 Cent Says He Never Made Money With Bitcoin
At some point in the past, 50 Cent was part of the bitcoin movement. In 2018, the G-Unit leader responded to a TMZ article alleging that Fif got millions because he joined the Bitcoin mania soon.

In the same year, he gave his fans the opportunity to pay him in exchange for his record Animal Ambition. The report states that Queens generated sales of more than 700 bitcoins, which were valued at about $662 each at the time. He allegedly earned between $7 and $8.5 million.
According to The Blast report, 50 cents was forced to attest in a 2018 bankruptcy filing that he owned no bitcoin and had no assets associated with it. 50 Cent admitted that he accepted some early bitcoin payments but never profited from them.
